Q & A’s
How often should I come in for a microblading touch-up?
Every 1-2 years. Everyones skin breaks down pigments differently. What I suggest is coming in for a Microblading consultation after 1 year, they’re no charge, and I can asses your brows. I will be able to tell if you can wait a bit longer, or if you need a touch up.
How long does microblading last?
Microblading can last from 8 -24 months. With microblading, we only insert pigment into the first layer (epidermis layer) of the skin. How long it lasts depends on skin type, pre and post-care and other environmental factors.
How often should I come in for a micro-pigmentation touch up?
Every 3-5 years depending on how fast your skin is breaking down the pigment. Some people, depending on skin type, skin care routine and other environmental factors, need touch ups sooner. You can always book a consultation with me and I can asses your brows to let you know when you need a touch up.
How long will microblading or micro-pigmentation take to heal?
Microblading and Micropigmentation takes a full 30 days to heal on top of the skin as well as underneath the skin. Healing on top of the skin can take any where from 3-14 days.
How long does micro-pigmentation last?
Micro-pigmentation can last from 3- 5+ years. With micropigmentation, we go into the dermis layer of the skin, so a little deeper then microblading. Longevity depends skin type, pre and post-care and other environmental factors.
How can you tell when you need a touch up?
When doing a touch up, I can only re-do areas that have faded. If only some of the brow has faded, and other parts haven’t, I can touch up the areas that need it. BUT if you wait until the entire brow has faded, I will be able to do the entire brow during the touch up, and in the long run, it will be cheaper for you, as you won’t need to come back as often.
