Touch-up Policy

Touch up policy is in place to assess pigment retention and determine whether or not a client is ready for a Microblading or Micropigmentation touch up.

Clients are asked to either email or text a photo of the brow area to be assessed before booking in for a touch-up appointment. If unable to email or text, clients can book a microblading or micropigmentation consultation online to have their brows assessed in person.

There are a several reasons for the touch-up policy. The main reason is to ensure the pigment has faded enough to be able to re-do the brow in its entirety. Clients that have even fading through out the entire brow are more likely to be approved for a touch up. If only small areas through out the brow have faded, they’re not ready for a touch up; as they are at risk for over-pigmentation if too much pigment is added on top of the not yet faded existing pigment. The reason for being so cautious, is over pigmentation can cause scaring and hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. Another reason to have the brows assessed, is to ensure that I am able to touch up both brows at the same to ensure even fading and healing in the future.

I want each client’s brows to stay as crisp, healthy and beautiful as your health is my number one priority. I am pro-active to ensure we never risk scarring or hyperpigmentation and having this policy in place ensures this.
